(KSL News) -- The Univeristy of Utah is one of five colleges to receive an "F" for minority hiring by the Black Coaches Association.

Schools are evaluated on the percentage of minorities involved in the hiring process and the number of minority candidates who are interviewed. They're also evaluated on the schools' contacts with either the BCA's executive director or the chairman of the NCAA's Minority Opportunity and Interests Committee.

Utah and South Carolina were the only Division One schools that the association says failed to document their search processes, earning them automatic F's. Three other schools also received F's.

Here's the report card for Utah's Universities:

  • BYU -- C
  • Utah State -- B
  • Weber State D --

Ohio University and Western Michigan were the only schools to receive A's across the board. Indiana, Illinois and the University of Nevada in Las Vegas also received A's overall.
