(KSL News) -- The Utah Foster Care Foundation is looking for families to open their homes.
Today the foundation sponsored a pumpkin painting party at the Gateway ao families could learn more about the program while having a little fun.
There are more than 2,000 children in the foster care system right now.
Mike Hamblin, Utah Foster Care Foundation: "We have every kind of child imaginable. We've got some children that come into the system straight the hospital, all the way up to age 18. They all have different backgrounds, different needs."
