(KSL News) -- Cyclists from around the country enjoyed the scenic beauty of southern Utah while riding in the Moab Century Tour.
All proceeds raised from the event benefit the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

Many of those who participated were cancer survivors or rode in honor of someone who had cancer.

There were more than one-thousand cyclists on the tour.
The spectacular route took riders through the sculptured canyons of the mighty Colorado River and up into the LaSal Mountains.
