(KSL News) -- Police have suspects, but no motive in a fatal shooting near Jordanelle Reservior Sunday night.

42-year old Ancieto Armendariz was driving home from a chuch gathering with his wife and son when a van pulled up beside them and someone began shooting. Armendariz died at the scene.

A former deacon at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Armendariz was well known by members of the Heber community. His death comes as a shock to those who knew him.

Joby Sweat, Friend: "He was such an example. His whole family was such an example and he will be sorely missed."

Police have two suspects in custody and expect to file charges tomorrow. At this point authorities have been unable to make any sort of connection between the suspects and the victim.
