PROVO -- Former White House aide Karl Rove made a stop in Utah Wednesday.

The senior adviser to President George W. Bush signed copies and talked about his new book "Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight."

"I wanted to draw back the curtain and show people in a frank and revealing way what happened and why it happened, and deal with the controversies that are still fresh and on people's minds," Rove said.

Rove is no stranger to Utah. He attended Salt Lake City's Olympus High School and the University of Utah.
