Elder Dallin H. Oaks, of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, and Nevada Sen. Harry Reid, who is a member of the LDS Church, delivered the family history to Mrs. Obama.

Reid said she was honored that his church can help document the first family's history.

Last July, Reid, Elder Oaks and LDS Church President Thomas S. Monson presented President Barack Obama with a copy of his family's genealogy.
