UNDATED (AP) — This afternoon's White Sox at Baltimore game will be unique, as for apparently the first time in baseball history fans will not be admitted to a game. The reason is fan safety, with the city of Baltimore still getting back on its feet after rioting Monday night. Since this was Chicago's only trip to Baltimore this season the games postponed on Monday and Tuesday will be made up in a doubleheader on May 28.
HOUSTON (AP) — Houston's Rockets have reached the second round of the NBA playoffs. The Rockets eliminated Dallas last night 103-94 as James Harden scored 28 points. The Rockets won the series in five games.
LOS ANGELES (AP) — San Antonio took a 3-2 lead over the Clippers in Los Angeles last night in their NBA Western Conference playoff. Tim Duncan had team highs of 21 points and 11 rebounds for San Antonio, which will host Game 6 tomorrow night.
UNDATED (AP) — Memphis is looking to close out its first-round series with Portland tonight. The Blazers forced this evening's fifth game with a 99-92 victory Monday night in Portland. If the Blazers win tonight's game they'll host Game 6 Friday night.
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — The seventh and final game between Detroit and Tampa Bay is slated for tonight in Tampa. The winner of this evening's game will advance to the second round of the NHL playoffs and a date with Montreal. The Lightning forced tonight's game by winning in Detroit on Monday.
