Detroit heads into the game with a 7-4 mark after consecutive losses to Arizona and New England. That's dropped the Lions a game back of Green Bay for first in the NFC North.
ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — First place in the NFC East is on the line when the Cowboys host Philadelphia today. Both teams head into the game with 8-3 records. The Cowboys' three losses this season have all come at home.
SANTA CLARA, Calif. (AP) — Two 7-4 NFC West rivals square off tonight when the 49ers host the Seahawks. The teams head into the meeting two games back of Arizona for the division lead and trying to stay alive in the post-season picture.
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — No. 5 TCU tries to keep its College Football Playoff hopes alive when it takes on Texas tonight. The 9-1 Horned Frogs enter the game just one spot out of the CFP top four that will contend for the national championship. Texas has put on a late-season surge of three straight wins under first-year coach Charlie Strong that sends the Longhorns into the game with a 6-5 record.
PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas (AP) — No. 2 Wisconsin tries to keep its early season run going when the Badgers face Georgetown in the semifinals of the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament today. Wisconsin has won five straight to start the season while the Hoyas are 4-0. Georgetown is coming off a tough double overtime win over No. 18 Florida last night.
