STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (AP) — Mario Moody tied a career-high with 19 points and Kenneth Ortiz added 15 as Wagner won its seventh straight with a 74-55 victory over St. Francis (Pa) on Thursday night.

Moody scored 16 points in the first half as Wagner took a 35-22 lead into halftime and never trailed. Moody was 8 of 10 from the field, including 2-for-2 shooting from beyond the arc. Ortiz made 7 of 11 shots and Latif Rivers added 10 points.

With the win, Wagner (17-11, 11-4 Northeast) clinched the No. 2 seed for the NEC Tournament. The Seahawks are three games back of conference leader Robert Morris.

Ronnie Drinnon scored 12 points and Ben Millaud-Meunier added 11 to lead St. Francis (9-19, 7-8), which has not won back-to-back games since winning its third straight February 1.
