CEDAR CITY, Utah — Justin Miller completed 29 of 37 passes for 352 and two touchdowns, Elijah Burns and Bobby Cole each ran for a TD and Southern Utah beat Utah Tech 31-17 Saturday night.

Utah Tech (1-3, 0-1 Western Athletic Conference) failed to convert a fourth-and-7 play from the SUU 35 and, on the next play, Justin Miller hit Isaiah Wooden down the left sideline for a 65-yard catch-and-run touchdown to make it 14-7 with 11:56 left in the first half and Southern Utah led the rest of the way.

Miller went 4 for 4 on third downs — hitting four different targets for first downs — on a 16-play, 82-yard drive that culminated when Ethan Bolingbroke caught a 3-yard touchdown pass with 15 seconds left in the second quarter and make it 24-10.

Kobe Tracy was 19-of-36 passing for 277 yards and two touchdowns with two interceptions for Utah Tech (formerly known as Dixie State).
