Trent Plaisted came back to earth just a bit last night in Las Vegas.

Plaisted followed his 10-point, 5-rebound outing in his pro lid-lifter on Friday with a 2-point, 4-rebound effort last night, as the Detroit Pistons beat the L.A. Clippers 75-66 at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.

Plaisted scored his two points on 1/2 shooting, adding a steal, while turning it over twice and committing 3 fouls in 25:23 of playing time (leading all bench players in PT).

Clipper DeAndre Jordan (who only played 5 minutes and did not score for Texas A&M in the Aggies' win over BYU at the NCAA Tournament) recorded a double-double for the Clips, with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Former SDSU Aztec Brandon Heath had 6 points and a single assist for the Clippers.

Plaisted and the Pistons next play Tuesday at 4:00pm MT, versus Milwaukee.

Former BYU wideout Ben Cahoon, who already owns Montreal Alouette career records for receiving yards and receptions, is now the Als' alltime leader in touchdown receptions, following his touchdown catch in Montreal's July 4th win over Winnipeg. Cahoon now has 55 touchdown catches, surpassing the mark set by longtime Alouettes' tight end Peter Dalla Riva.

The Winnipeg game was Montreal's second game of the season, but the first for Cahoon, who missed the Als' opener with a quad injury, and has since been eased back into the rotation (5 grabs for 54 yards through two games).
