I did a story recently on a former Utah woman's website, www.presidentialperfume.com. She made scents named "Hillary," "Barack," and "John." She also has scents for the candidates' spouses by the way, and as soon as vice-presidential candidates are named she'll make those scents.

Then yesterday I read in the USA Today how some companies' web sites that let you design your own T-Shirt are finding the political requests coming in fast and furious.

The interesting thing that the perfume and t-shirt makers report that Barack Obama merchandise is selling a little bit better than Hillary Clinton stuff...but both of them are far outpacing John McCain-themed things.

My question is, does this support mean that a Democrat is going to win the Presidential election? Or do Democrats simply buy these sorts of things more than Republicans? I'm not sure.

By the way the title of the blog comes from the movie, "That Thing You Do." Mr. Villapiano is counting out money and asks Lenny, "Do you know what this is?" and Lenny says, "Presidential Flashcards?"
