The Utah Cutthroat Slam is a challenge to catch all four native cutthroat trout species in Utah. David Jensen, was one fish away from completing the slam when cancer took his life. So his son and grandsons completed the slam for him, by getting together to catch the remaining fish - a Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout. Afterwards, Brett Prettyman from the Utah Cutthroat Slam, presented the anglers each with a certificate with David’s name on it and one medallion. It's a heartwarming story that exemplifies what the Utah Cutthroat Slam is all about.
