SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) — Authorities in Puerto Rico have charged a 28-year-old man in the U.S. territory's first federal sextortion case involving adults.

Mario Lebron Caceres is accused of threatening to post sexually explicit images of a 33-year-old woman on a pornographic website and of sharing them with her coworkers if she didn't have sex with him.

U.S. Attorney Rosa Emilia Rodriguez said Wednesday that the two met online in February and that the woman later sent him the images.

Lebron is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday. He faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years if found guilty.
