ST. GEORGE — A motorcyclist was injured on Gunlock Road after losing control and crashing on Tuesday evening.

Dammeron Valley Fire and Rescue public information officer Hunter Wolfe said this was the second such incident in about two weeks at the same location. The previous one involved a motorcyclist who was found about 60 feet from his motorcycle on May 28.

Wolfe said at about 5:38 p.m., a 911 call came in and Dammeron Valley Fire and Rescue were dispatched to around 1385 W. Gunlock Road where an adult man was found to have lost control of his motorcycle and crashed. He said the incident occurred "probably from speeding."

Unlike the incident last month, this man was not alone, traveling in a group of other motorcyclists.
