TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — A former middle school music teacher found with child pornography is now headed to prison.
Federal prosecutors say Cliff Ramsay received a two-year sentence on Wednesday. The 31-year-old Raritan man also must register as a sex offender and will have to serve five years of supervised release once he's freed.
Prosecutors say Ramsay accessed a website known to contain images and videos of child sex abuse in February 2015. At the time he was a music teacher at a public middle school in Hunterdon County and also gave music lessons to children at his home.
Authorities executed a search warrant at Ramsay's home in July 2015. They found numerous files containing child pornography on his computer.
He had pleaded guilty in March to possessing child porn.
