RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) — A man accused of shooting his wife to death in front of the couple's children on the Wind River Indian Reservation will remain in custody pending his trial on a first-degree murder charge.

The Ranger daily newspaper in Riverton reports (http://bit.ly/1NqzEAO) U.S. District Court of Wyoming Judge Kelly H. Rankin ruled Monday that probable cause exists for the charge against Koby Dean Johnson.

FBI investigating agent Christine Coble says three of the couple's eight children saw Johnson shoot Rachel Noel Sapohoors on Nov. 21.

Coble said in court documents that some of the children told authorities their parents had a history of fights over Johnson stealing his wife's pain medication.
