POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — A male pedestrian was struck and killed early Monday while crossing a street in Pocatello.

Pocatello Police says a woman driving a Jeep Wrangler did not see him and hit him around 1 a.m., just east of Old Town.

Both the driver and pedestrian are from the Pocatello area. They have not been identified.

The Idaho State Journal says police don't believe drugs or alcohol are a factor in the crash. They're still investigating.
