JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) — Police say two teenagers have been charged in connection with a false bomb threat made at a Jackson high school.
Jackson police said North Side High School received two telephone calls in which a caller said there was a bomb in the school on Monday.
Police said two 17-year-old students who attend the school have been charged with filing a false report. The charge is a felony because the false report was related to a bomb.
The teens are not being identified publicly. They are being held at the Madison County Juvenile Detention Center, pending a detention hearing.
