SALT LAKE CITY — The 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milano closed out with a thrilling victory by the United States over Canada, earning Utah Mammoth captain Clayton Keller a goal medal.
Playing a small role in the victory, SLC Puck host Austin Facer says Keller's efforts were still critical in a 2-1 overtime nail-biting win, in which every second proved significant. Fellow Mammoth teammate, Olli Maatta also captured a medal in Milano, winning the silver with his teammates from Finland.
Also over the weekend, the team opened the Mammoth Ice Center to the public. As Facer says, Saturdays in Sandy will never be the same.
