PALM HARBOR, Fla. — Jacob Bridgeman has a one-shot lead going into the weekend at a very crowded Valspar Championship. Perhaps the real surprise was Viktor Hovland being among those one shot back. Hovland has been searching for a swing that makes sense. He finds himself in contention at the tough Innisbrook course. Shane Lowry and Xander Schauffele are among those two shots behind. Neal Shipley missed a 15-foot par putt on the last hole that led 13 players back into the weekend. The cut was at 2-over par. The difference between Bridgeman in the lead and last place was only eight shots.
