LEHI — Nightly road closures will be in place on a major Lehi intersection for three weeks.
Starting Friday, the Redwood Road and 2100 North intersection will be under construction as crews set beams for a new bridge over Redwood Road. The bridge is part of a larger project to expand the Mountain View Corridor and ease congestion in the area.
Thru traffic on Redwood Road and left turns will be prohibited during the closures. Turning right will be allowed on and off of Redwood Road.
The intersection will close from 9:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. on weekdays. The closures will be extended to 7:30 a.m. on Saturdays and 9 a.m. on Sundays.
Additionally, lane closures, delays and shifting travel lanes will be in place along Redwood and 2100 North in the evenings while crews prepare the work zone for the construction.
Signs will direct drivers on detours, including along Mountain View Highway. The closures are expected to last about three weeks.
