About Snowbasin Resort
Ski Magazine ranked Snowbasin Resort as the 14th best resort in the country for its easy access, expansive terrain, luxurious lodges, incredible food and impeccable employee service.
Always ranked highly for accessibility, Snowbasin is nestled on the backside of the Wasatch Range right below Mt. Ogden's historic peaks. Snowbasin sits on its own mountain and is practically in your backyard if you're a Davis or Weber County dweller. The family-owned resort is a quick 20-minute drive from Ogden, 45 minutes from Salt Lake City, and an hour from both Park City and Cache Valley.
With 3,000 vertical feet and over 3,000 skiable acres of powder, Snowbasin offers bucket-list terrain for every type of skier. Not only does Snowbasin boast expanded beginner terrain and a family zone, but the resort also houses wide-open bowls, world-class groomers, and Olympic-level slopes.
And the resort keeps improving each year. Snowbasin has invested in one of the most advanced lift systems available—two gondolas, one tram, four express lifts, two lifts, two carpets and a handle tow. This translates to less time waiting in lines and more time shredding! DeMoisy Express is a six-person high-speed lift that will enhance the skier experience and provide additional lift capacity in the Strawberry area of the resort. The installation of the new lift is set to take place in advance of the 2023-24 winter season. This will bring the resort's total lifts up to 13.
You'll also find more parking than any other Utah resort. The best part? It's free! You can save your cash for a tasty meal at one of Snowbasin's award-winning dining options sure to satisfy even the biggest foodie.
