It's officially the halfway point of the ski season, and there's still plenty of snow to enjoy on the slopes this year. Despite only being at the halfway mark, Utah has already received a full season's worth of snow.

In a recent report for Ski Utah, Evan Thayer writes, "We are now at 100% of the median peak snowpack as a statewide average," Thayer says. "The peak snowpack typically doesn't occur until around April 10, so we are eight weeks ahead of schedule. Any snow we see from this point forward is a bonus on top of a typical season."

At Snowbasin resort in Huntsville, snowfall is already hovering at 282 inches for the year, surpassing the last two years' totals. No one should be missing out on these conditions, so Snowbasin is offering up huge savings on lift tickets, packages, and lessons during their midseason sale. With these prices, everyone can take advantage of the extraordinary snowfall.

The resort sits on its own mountain and is practically in your backyard if you're a Davis or Weber County dweller. The family-owned resort is hard to beat for accessibility—a quick 20 minutes from Ogden, 45 minutes from Salt Lake City, and an hour from both Park City and Cache Valley.

With 3,000 vertical feet and over 3,000 skiable acres of powder, Snowbasin offers bucket-list terrain for every type of skier. Not only does Snowbasin boast expanded beginner terrain and a renowned family zone, but the resort also houses wide-open bowls, world-class groomers, and Olympic-level slopes.
