SALT LAKE CITY — It's one of the most unforgettable plays in BYU history: John Beck's winning touchdown pass to Jonny Harline at Utah in 2006.

"It has been cool in my life to have people tell me their story of where they were," Beck said. "The weird moments are when somebody's like,'Oh, yeah, I was like 8 years old,' and now they're like this grown man and with kids and everything. And I'm like like, 'Oh, gosh, where has the time gone?'"

It's been 16 years since that play and a lot has happened since he was a second-round pick by Miami in 2007. The NFL "didn't go like I wanted," Beck said, but he's landed a job coaching quarterbacks from around the country, including several local players and those already playing in the NFL.

Watch his story about how he transformed from the playing field into being the "quarterback whisperer" that has helped players from around the country find NFL success. View the video above to hear his story and to see what Beck is doing today.
