WEST JORDAN — A small plane was forced down in the soccer fields to the south of the South Valley Airport on Wednesday afternoon, due to a gust of wind, according to the West Jordan Fire Department.

West Jordan officials said no one was hurt in the incident in a Facebook post.

The Federal Aviation Administration will be looking into the incident, the city said, as it does with every air-related incident.
