BOISE, Idaho — Dillon Jones had 23 points and 11 rebounds as Weber State beat Montana 68-56 in the Big Sky Conference tournament quarterfinals on Thursday.

Koby McEwen had 17 points for Weber State (21-11). Jamison Overton added 10 points.

Derrick Carter-Hollinger, Robby Beasley III and Brandon Whitney each had 12 points for the Grizzlies (18-14).

Weber State will take on No. 1 seed Montana State at 5:30 p.m. Friday in the Big Sky Tournament semifinals. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Thomas scores 20 to lift Portland State over Southern Utah

Khalid Thomas had 20 points as seven-seed Portland State beat two-seed Southern Utah 77-65 in the Big Sky Conference Tournament quarterfinals.

Michael Carter III had 13 points and six rebounds for Portland State (14-16). Ian Burke added 10 points.

Maizen Fausett had 19 points and nine rebounds for the Thunderbirds (20-11). Dre Marin added 13 points. John Knight III had 13 points and seven rebounds.
