MONTICELLO — A woman who was last seen in September 2020 returned home either Friday night or Saturday morning, police say.

A $200 reward for helping to locate Kayla Blackbird was offered in December 2020 when the San Juan County Sheriff's Office considered her to be "possibly endangered."

Now, more than a year after she went missing, her family said she returned home, according to a San Juan County Sheriff's Office Facebook post.

The family is requesting privacy at this time, and no other details were provided about Blackbird's return.
