TOOELE — Police have recovered the body of a man believed to be 24-year-old Devin Perryman after two days of investigating a homicide in Tooele.
Perryman was recovered near Delle and 23-year-old Austin Strehle was arrested in connection to the death.
Investigators said the two men went to a home in Tooele to rob it but something went wrong and Perryman was struck by gunshots.
Police said multiple occupants of the home concealed Perryman’s body and dumped it near Delle.
The strange case began earlier this week when police asked the public for information on a possible homicide case in the area.
Detectives received a call Tuesday afternoon reporting a possible homicide at 363 N. Garden Street but officers were unable to find a body.
Police say they are still looking for Brandon Burr. They had previously put out his name as someone they were looking for who might have more information. pic.twitter.com/PjIC9rFMI0

By Thursday, detectives said there was strong evidence a shooting had occurred at the residence and someone had been killed.
Perryman, of West Valley City, had been reported missing by family members earlier in the week, police said.
Police are still searching for 38-year-old Brandon Burr — detectives said earlier in the week Burr had more information on the incident.
Police also believed 26-year-old Caitlyn Fluckiger had more information in the case. Fluckiger was located by police as of Friday.
Information about further potential arrests weren’t immediately available.
