OREM, Utah (AP) — Conner Toolson had 22 points as Utah Valley won its seventh consecutive game, topping Cal State Bakersfield 76-61 on Saturday night.
Jake Toolson had 13 points and seven rebounds for Utah Valley (23-8, 12-4 Western Athletic Conference). Ben Nakwaasah added 11 points. Richard Harward had 11 rebounds and three blocks for the hosts.
Rickey Holden had 15 points for the Roadrunners (16-14, 7-9) whose losing streak reached five games.
Jarkel Joiner, the Roadrunners' leading scorer heading into the contest at 16 points per game, scored 7 points on 3-of-13 shooting.
The Wolverines evened the season series against the Roadrunners with the win. Cal State Bakersfield defeated Utah Valley 73-71 on Jan. 5.
