MOAB, Utah (AP) — Authorities say two workers were electrocuted and a third injured Saturday when industrial equipment at a potash mine in eastern Utah touched a power line. The San Juan County Sheriff's Office says Russell Helquist and Matthew Johnston died at the Intrepid Potash facility near Moab and a third man, Arthur Secrest, was flown to a Salt Lake City hospital after being found unconscious but breathing.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Rural leaders in Utah who often chafe at how federal officials manage public lands are now also growing frustrated with state authorities as they cancel grazing permits. The Salt Lake Tribune reports that Garfield County has passed an ordinance that would temporarily block a planned $200 million tent resort for so-called glamour camping, or "glamping" on former grazing land.

PROVO, Utah (AP) — Over 30 passengers and crew members aboard a FrontRunner commuter train escaped injury when it struck a tractor-trailer rig broken down on tracks in Provo. The Daily Herald reports that the crash occurred Friday when the truck's brakes locked up, causing the truck's front end to stop on the tracks.

UNDATED (AP) — Authorities say no officers were injured in separate shootings Friday night in which one man was fatally shot by Salt Lake City police and another man was fatally shot by Ogden police. The West Valley City Police Department will lead an investigation into the fatal shooting of 30-year-old Cody Belgard in Salt Lake City and the Weber County Attorney's Office will investigate the Ogden shooting.
