Taste of Minneapolis

I flew straight to Minneapolis and called my old friend Karen Scullin---former KSL-er and current employee of the Fox station here. She invited me to a media party at the site of the old Gold Medal flour mill, downtown. Both of us were expecting a couple hundred people. But there were at least a couple thousand! I had an ear of Minnesota corn, roasted and then dipped in butter ( it was good, and my diet has been a disaster this week anyway.) I hope my pictures are coming through. The bottom line: Like Denver, there are tons of people and outlets covering this convention, even though it's someone more somber because of the hurricane.
