Former Ute linebacker Kyle Brady has been hired as an assistant coach at Southern Virginia University. Brady will coach the running backs for the Knights. He played for the University of Utah from 2004 to 2007.
Brady says, "I'm excited to be here and to learn from the coaching staff. I'm ready to work with the players and for the season to start. I hope to combine what I learned at Utah with what I'll learn here and make a difference."
Brady is a native of Tooele, Utah, and played at Tooele High School for Tyler Anderson, Southern Virginia's current receivers and special teams coach. At Tooele Brady was a two-time first-team all-state performer and as a senior was named Utah's Mr. Football.
