Where local athletes are projected in the NFL Draft

SALT LAKE CITY — With a week to go before the 2016 NFL Draft, teams are starting to finalize their draft boards as NFL prospects nervously await their shot at the highest level of football.

There are several players from the local universities in consideration for this year's draft; however, it's never really easy to get a good picture of where a player is likely to be drafted unless that player is projected in the first two rounds. Most local athletes this year are projected to go in the later rounds of the draft, but there could be someone move up to the second round.

The following is a look at some of the projections out there for the local athletes. Because it's incredibly difficult to project with any amount of reasonable accuracy where a player will be selected, few media outlets attempt a full seven-round mock draft. The five media outlets in the tables below are the most recent of all projections for those that attempt a seven-round mock draft.

If a player is not mentioned below, there is no mock draft board that has that player being drafted. However, many will likely pick up free agency deals with teams at the conclusion of the draft next week.
