NEW YORK (AP) — In her first major policy address as a presidential candidate, Hillary Rodham Clinton is addressing the violence in Baltimore that followed the death of Freddie Gray -- a black man who suffered a spinal cord injury in police custody. She's speaking today at New York's Columbia University, outlining steps to reform the criminal justice system. Clinton wants body cameras to be used by every police department in the country.

BALTIMORE (AP) — An overnight curfew will again be in effect tonight in Baltimore, where 3,000 police and National Guardsmen are in place to enforce it. There were no reports of disturbances in the early morning hours today before the curfew ended at 5 a.m. Baltimore was rocked by looting and widespread arson Monday after the funeral for a black man who died in police custody.

FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) — Ferguson, Missouri, has once again been the scene of violent protests -- this time, in response to the death of Freddie Gray after his arrest in Baltimore. Looting, fires and gunfire broke out overnight in Ferguson -- where there had been several protests last year over the fatal shooting of an unarmed black 18-year-old, Michael Brown, by a white police officer. Tensions remain high in the region.

NEW YORK (AP) — Stocks are opening mostly lower as traders react to weak U.S. economic growth and some disappointing earnings. The government reported today that the economy skidded nearly to a halt in the first three months of the year, after being battered by harsh weather, plunging exports and sharp cutbacks in oil and gas drilling.

NEW YORK (AP) — Anheuser-Busch is apologizing for a slogan that appeared on bottles of Bud Light. The slogan said that the beer removes the word "no" from drinkers' vocabulary. Photos of bottles with the slogan went viral on social media yesterday -- accompanied by complaints about it. The reaction comes amid a national focus on the issue of rape on college campuses.
