INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The party is sure to last far into the night in North Carolina, where thousands of fans packed Cameron Indoor Stadium to watch Duke win the national championship. Duke beat Wisconsin 68-63 Monday night to clinch their fifth national title. It's also five national titles for Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski (shuh-SHEF'-skee).

FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) — The troubled St. Louis suburb of Ferguson, Missouri faces the daunting task of remaking much of the beleaguered town's leadership. Much of that process begins after Tuesday's municipal election. Three of the six council seats are up for grabs in the town where a black 18-year-old was fatally shot by a white Ferguson police officer in August. Although the officer was cleared of wrongdoing, a scathing Department of Justice report led to the resignation of the city manager, police chief, municipal judge and two police officers. The municipal court clerk was fired for racist emails.

BOSTON (AP) — The jury begins deliberations Tuesday in the trial of Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev (joh-HAHR' tsahr-NEYE'-ehv). Tsarnaev's attorney told the jury that the then-19-year-old took part in the attack that killed three people and wounded 260, but that his older brother was the mastermind of the bombings. Given the admission, Tsarnaev's conviction is a near certainty. The jury would then decide whether he should get life in prison or the death penalty.

AMMAN, Jordan (AP) — The U.N. children's agency says 74 children have been killed since the Yemen conflict intensified almost two weeks ago and more than 100,000 people have left homes in search of safety. UNICEF says hospitals with insufficient supplies are struggling to treat large numbers of wounded. And at least three health workers have been killed in attacks.

NEW YORK (AP) — Singer-songwriter Don McLean is selling his original manuscript and notes to "American Pie." Christie's auction house says McLean is selling 16 pages that include the original working manuscript and typed drafts of the song. It's estimating that "American Pie" will sell for $1 million to $1.5 million when it goes on the auction block Tuesday.
