FAIRBURN, Ga. (AP) — Authorities say a young man suspected in a fatal shooting outside a high school near Atlanta has turned himself in to police.

WSB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1s5beRn ) the 18-year-old suspect turned himself in at the Fulton County jail late Friday. Fulton County police had been searching for him in connection with an Oct. 3 shooting in a parking lot outside Langston Hughes High School. Police say 17-year-old Kristofer Hunter of College Park was shot after a football game at the school and later died at a hospital.

Police said they are still searching for a second suspect, a 19-year-old man, in connection with Hunter's death.

It was not immediately known what charges the suspect in custody faced or if he had an attorney.
