SOUTH BEND, Ind. —BYU traveled to the South Bend, Indiana to take on the Notre Dame Fightin' Irish. Cougars came from all over the country to watch BYU play in legendary Notre Dame Stadium and while the game didn't end up as Cougar fans had hoped, but most say the trip was still worth it.

BYU lost a close game, 17-14, but outside of the stadium Cougar fans still seemed to be in a great mood. So, how can fans be happy after losing an opportunity to beat a top five team on their home field which just happens to be the iconic Notre Dame Stadium? Easy, you're at the iconic Notre Dame Stadium.

The Esplin family came from Provo, Utah and Orange County, California and they all said the trip was well worth it. Even though BYU lost it was an experience they'll never forget and one they say they might repeat when BYU returns for a rematch.

What we want to do now is ask all of the fans who made it out to the game, was it worth it? Was it worth traveling thousands of miles to watch BYU lose to Notre Dame and would you do it again.

We also want to ask those of you who didn't make the trip, do you wish you could have made it to the game? Do you plan on heading to South bend in the future?

Let us know on the comment boards and on Facebook. We want to hear your thoughts and your experiences in South Bend.
