CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) -- Brigham Young senior Austin Ainge has a job lined up a month before graduation.
Ainge, the son of Boston Celtics general manager Danny Ainge, will join new Southern Utah coach Roger Reid's staff after graduating from BYU next month, Southern Utah said in a release Thursday.
Reid was an assistant coach at BYU when Danny Ainge played for the Cougars and later was an assistant to Ainge when he was coaching the Phoenix Suns.
Austin Ainge just finished his last season at BYU, which was knocked out in the opening round of the NCAA tournament by Xavier last week. His father also played for the Cougars,
Reid also named Ron Carling and Tarvish Felton as his other assistants. Carling was on Reid's staff at Snow College the past two seasons and Felton was an assistant at Southern Utah under former coach Bill Evans, who was let go after 15 seasons.
