SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — State transportation officials opened an extra lane of travel in each direction on I-15 at Point of the Mountain for Thanksgiving Day travelers.
Five lanes will be open to traffic Wednesday through Sunday between Bangerter Highway and state Route 92.
The Utah Department of Transportation recommends drivers avoid the roads during times of heavy traffic. Roads are expected to get busy Wednesday morning. Return traffic on Sunday is expected to be heaviest in the afternoon and through the evening.
Not a whole lot to talk about for your morning commute. And that's a good thing. Enjoy your ride .... it will change tonight.
