SALT LAKE CITY -- Emigration Market on the east side of Salt Lake City will reopen its doors as a Harmons grocery store.
The new 10,000 square foot Harmons Emigration Market will be a bit smaller than most Harmons stores, but will offer artisan breads, organic and traditional produce, a custom meat counter and fresh cheeses and deli items along with traditional groceries.
"We're very pleased to have this opportunity to serve as the neighborhood grocer for this great walkable community," said company vice president Bob Harmon in a press release Thursday.
Emigration Market at 1706 E. 1300 South closed in April after nearly 70 years of business. A grand opening date has not been announced.
