LAYTON — Police are looking for two missing girls who were last seen at foster home New Beginnings the evening of July 1.

McKenzey Madill, 13, is possibly in either Salt Lake or West Valley. Madill is caucasian with red hair that is shaved on one side and has blue eyes. She is 5 feet 4 inches and 159 pounds, Utah Child and Family Services wrote in a press release. Last November, she crawled out of a window of a non-secure facility with another girl. They were located within a couple of days.

The second girl who is currently missing is Alice Mpawenimana, 15, a member of the Burundi refugee community. She is black with brown eyes and brown/black hair styled in a short weave. Mpawenimana is 5-feet, 1-inch tall and weighs 155 pounds.

Both girls are from Salt Lake County.

Utah Child and Family Services is worried about the girls’ safety due to their age and how long they have been missing.

If you have any information regarding the girls, call Layton police at 801-497-8300.
