LOGAN, Utah (AP) — Police say a 91-year-old woman whose body was found Tuesday outside the North Logan facility where she lived died of hypothermia after a fall.
North Park Police Det. Ulysses Black said Thursday that Patricia Hugie appeared to have fallen while walking on a sidewalk outside of the Pioneer Valley Lodge, a senior apartment complex.
Police say she was last seen about 6:30 p.m. Monday, and her body was found by a maintenance worker the next morning.
Black says an autopsy showed she died of hypothermia and also had a fractured right hip.
The Logan Herald Journal reports Hugie was a longtime resident of Cache Valley.
