OREM — Don Porter loves to dance. He's no John Travolta, but as far as "Stayin' Alive" goes, he's good at that — better than most, in fact.

Born in Salt Lake in 1916, Porter has lived through 17 U.S. presidents, 11 presidents of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and a whole lot in between.

The 98-year-old Orem resident recently went "One on One" with KSL News anchor Dave McCann, sharing memories of the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor, "Beatle mania," and even a face-to-face meeting with Butch Cassidy.
