Outlook
Merry Christmas! It has been a cloudy, mild, and windy holiday across the Wasatch Front. Look for more clouds and south wind overnight as we await a storm that will arrive Friday afternoon. This storm will bring scattered valley rain and mountain snow lasting into Saturday morning. A push of cold air will arrive late Saturday evening and early Sunday, dropping the snow level back to the valleys, but snow accumulations look limited, and will be less than an inch. There will be the potential for lake effect bands lasting into Sunday morning. The mountains will receive snow starting Friday and lasting into early Sunday. Northern mountains will see 8-16", with southern mountains receiving 6-12". Lake effect snow could up the totals in the Cottonwoods. Kevin Eubank - KSL Weather 12.25.25
