Outlook

High pressure continues to block storms from moving into Utah not only today but through the end of the week. Reapeat performances of hazy days and cold nights will prevail through Thursday. We're still tracking a weak back door cold front that wouldn't bring anything but a little cool air aloft with some upper level winds. This isn't much, but it could help to ventilate our air a little bit, but the cap of inversion largely still be in place. - Matt Johnson, KSL Weather 1.13.26
