IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

Locations impacted include... Sandy, Draper, Cottonwood Heights, Granite, Little Cottonwood Creek Valley, and Little Cottonwood Canyon.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Sandy, Orem, South Jordan, Lehi, Draper, Pleasant Grove, Cottonwood Heights, American Fork, Lindon, Alpine, Vineyard, Little Cottonwood Canyon, Granite, Little Cottonwood Creek Valley, Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah Lake, Saratoga Springs, Highland, Cedar Hills, and Alta.

This includes Interstate 15 between mile markers 273 and 283, and between mile markers 289 and 295.
