SOCHI, Russia (AP) - A tournament that started with such promise for the Americans came to a crashing halt in the bronze medal game against Finland on Saturday.
Team USA looked like one of the strongest teams in Sochi when it took down the home Russians in the preliminary round and rolled into the semifinal against Canada. The Americans lost to Canada on Friday, then got thrashed by the Finns, 5-0, on Saturday.
