EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) - The gates are open and Super Bowl fans are heading into MetLife Stadium.
Trains continue to shuttle hundreds from Secaucus, N.J., to watch the Seattle Seahawks vs. the Denver Broncos.
NJ Transit spokeswoman Nancy Snyder said fans Sunday have been orderly as they pass through security screening. The double-decker trains carry 1,350 passengers.
The parking lot at MetLife Stadium opened at noon Sunday.
Parking passes cost $150 and vehicles are subject to scans for security reasons.
Those who drove were allowed to bring their own food and beverages. But they were not allowed to have grills for tailgating. Football fans can visit the Gameday Fan Plaza, which features music and activities.
New Jersey State Police Sgt. Adam Grossman said fans will see a large law enforcement presence at the stadium. Grossman says there have been no problems.
