SAN ANTONIO, Texas (AP) — The San Antonio Spurs look to extend their home court winning streak this evening. The Spurs have opened the season with wins in all 21 home games and tonight they are playing host to the Knicks.

UNDATED (AP) — There are two unbeaten teams left in Division 1 men's basketball, SMU and South Carolina. Last night the SMU Mustangs remained perfect with a hard fought 59-57 win over the Cincinnati Bearcats. The victory improved the 15th-ranked Mustangs to 14-0.

CANTON, Ohio (AP) — The Pro Football Hall of Fame has released its list of the 15 finalists for entrance into the Canton, Ohio, shrine. The list is led by Brett Favre (farv) who left the NFL after the 2010 season as the leader in most career passing categories. Along with Favre receiver Terrell (TEHR'-ehl) Owens and guard Alan Faneca are former players eligible for the first time.

NEW YORK (AP) — In case you were wondering which caps Ken Griffey Jr. and Mike Piazza (pee-AHT'-zuh) will wear on their plaques in the Baseball Hall of fame, the question has been answered. Griffey will go into the Hall with a Seattle Mariners' cap and Piazza a New York Mets' hat. Induction ceremonies will be held in Cooperstown on July 24.

KAPALUA, Hawaii (AP) — The first round of the first PGA Tour event of 2016 took place yesterday. The leader after 18 holes in the Tournament of Champions in Hawaii was Patrick Reed. He completed play at 8-under, one shot in front of Jordan Spieth (SPEETH).
