MIAMI (AP) — The San Antonio Spurs have a two-games-to-one lead in the NBA Finals following an incredible shooting performance in the first half of Tuesday's 111-92 blowout over the Heat in Miami. The Spurs made 19 of their first 21 shots and fired at a 76-percent clip in the best-shooting half in NBA Finals history. Kawhi (kah-WY') Leonard hit his first six shots while scoring 18 of his career-high 29 points.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — An individual familiar with the matter says Shelly Sterling's attorney will be in probate court tomorrow to seek an emergency order for a hearing so a judge can confirm her authority to sell the Los Angeles Clippers. Shelly Sterling brokered what would be a record-breaking $2 billion deal with former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer to sell the team after her husband and co-owner Donald Sterling made racist comments to a girlfriend that were recorded and publicized. The NBA moved swiftly to oust Donald Sterling as an owner, but he has vowed not to sell and is suing the NBA for $1 billion.

NEW YORK (AP) — Longtime NBA guard Derek Fisher has a new job coaching the New York Knicks. Just days after finishing his 18 year career as a pro, Fisher agreed to become coach after Mike Woodson was fired by new Knicks' president Phil Jackson. Fisher and Jackson have a longstanding relationship as Jackson coached Fisher when the two were with the Lakers.

UNDATED (AP) — Colorado Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez is expected to be sidelined a few weeks after having a small tumor removed from his left index finger. Rockies head athletic trainer Keith Dugger said these type of tumors are common and the expectation is a biopsy will determine the tumor is benign. The Rockies already were planning to spend the next month without third baseman Nolan Arenado and outfielder Michael Cuddyer (kuh-DY'-ur) because of injuries.

NEW YORK (AP) — Orioles third baseman Manny Machado (muh-CHA'-doh) has been suspended for five games and fined for intentionally throwing his bat on the field during Sunday's game against Oakland. Machado let his bat fly in the direction of third base after swinging at a pitch from Oakland's Fernando Abad in the eighth inning. The bat-toss came during a plate appearance in which Abad threw a tight pitch to Machado.
